About the Columbia City Theater
From Hendrix to Nirvana, Columbia City Theater is where Seattle’s musical soul lives on—with Crowdsource Choir carrying the torch. In this storied, resonant room, we gather to create something new together: a joyful, harmonious sing-along that’s equal parts concert, DJ set, and community ritual. Every person belongs, and every voice helps transform a crowd into a harmony-laced collective belting out the bangers. We continue the legacy—not as solo acts, but as a collective instrument.

Why You Should Come
Whether you’re a lifelong singer or just hum along in the car, you’ll be guided into something bigger than yourself. Some moments are high-energy, others are chill—but all of it is designed to leave you feeling alive, connected, and happy.

What Crowdsource Choir Is (and Isn’t)
This is Seattle’s own Crowdsource Choir—created and led by local musicians, not a corporately run music production. It’s not background music. Not karaoke. Not a sit-and-watch show. It’s a full-hearted, harmony-laced flash of communal magnificence.

Crowdsource Choir at Town Hall

Crowdsource Choir: Show up to sing!

Join Crowdsource Choir for an all ages joyful, high-energy night of collective music making. Crowdsource Choir invites everyone to raise the vibration by singing with a room full of strangers-turned-choir. No auditions. No divas. And definitely no choir robes.

We’ll sing mostly well-known melodies, discover harmonies on the fly, and create an instant choir you can feel in your bones. You’ll be guided and supported every step of the way — and yes, it’ll be fun. Because if it’s not fun, what’s the point?

On the night of the event, we’ll create a moment of harmonious magnificence together. But the story starts earlier — our voices are already weaving. To amplify this narrative, participants are invited to submit a short voice or video clip that may be remixed into the live show. It could be the sound of your keyboard clicking. Birdsong on your balcony. A selfie of you saying or singing something. It’s a playful way to add your unique thread to the musical tapestry before the singing even begins. There are no rules.

Submit your clip

Why It’s Special

  • Your voice matters — whether you sing in choirs or just in the car.

  • No two nights are the same. Each show is shaped by who shows up.

  • We are the choir. We are the ceremony. Together, we raise the collective vibration.
